At King’s Way, our purpose is to develop the whole person, academically, spiritually and PHYSICALLY, equipping them for a lifetime of opportunity and significance. As a ministry of Vancouver First Church of God, our desire is to see the lives of students TRANSFORMED spiritually as they develop their relationship with Christ, their family, their teachers and those around them.
King’s Way athletic department has worked hard to build a sports program that allows students to explore and discover their physical gifts and talents while instilling character and inspiring confidence. We now offer a wide array of sports from football, track, soccer, volleyball, and basketball to cross country, golf, tennis and lacrosse. King’s Way’s athletic teams are thriving!
Just as our athletic program has been blessed, God has opened the doors, through gracious supporters, to our pursuit of on-campus, multi-use sports fields. With the permitting process near completion, we begin a capital campaign to break ground on the North Fields.
What’s the best part? King’s Way’s new fields will have the capacity and potential to serve thousands of additional Clark County families by offering use to community clubs and organizations. These will be facilities that benefit King’s Way & our Community!
These fields will include…
Field & Track…A high quality lighted, multi-use, synthetic turf field with surrounding 8-lane synthetic track located on the northwest portion of the property.
Play Field…In addition to the synthetic turf field, there will be a grass play field constructed for practice and play as well as recess during school hours.
Multiple Uses…These fields will be utilized for sports such as football, soccer, track and lacrosse, as well as Physical Education classes and outdoor recess.

The Significance of Athletics…A first-rate athletic program can transform a student’s educational experience. Students who engage in athletics learn life lessons taught best, not in the classroom, but on a field of competition.
A well-rounded student, who benefits from the physical, social and mental rewards of athletics, discovers the virtues of sacrifice, courage and discipline. Athletics provide unique opportunities to build camaraderie and are a unifying element of any institution.
We’re Growing…A safe, quality and readily available field will support our growing athletic program, enabling students to achieve excellence in their physical development. Additionally, it will provide the only extensive, all-encompassing sports program in Clark County within a Christian school setting.
Nine of our sports teams require fields for practice and competition. We need to improve playability of our current fields so that we can practice without incurring the costs of travel and rental fees for the limited fields within Clark County.
While King’s Way has worked hard to develop and expand athletics, without playable fields for practice and competition, our program is at a standstill. We have a critical need for quality athletic fields.
